Original hand-drawn sketch by comic art legend Sheldon Mayer, undated but likely early 1935 as it relates to the Charles Lindbergh kidnapping trial. Signed ''Sheldon Mayer'' at bottom, sketch on flexible illustration board measures 10.75'' x 7.875''. With typed caption affixed to verso reading ''YA-AH-I betcha REILLY did it!'', referring to defense attorney Edward J. Reilly. Also signed by Mayer on the verso, with his Harlem, New York address. Light wear and small area of paper loss to lower left edge, otherwise near fine condition. From the Sheldon Mayer estate.
