Original Sheldon Mayer comic sketch entitled ''The Last of Uncle Eddie'' from a previously unknown comic strip ''And How's Your Folks?''. Mayer likely drew this artwork in the early to mid-1930s when he was developing concepts for comic strips just before or while working for Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson at National Allied Publications. Signed ''Sheldon Mayer'' at bottom. Sketch on flexible illustration board measures 10.25'' x 9''. Light wear and toning, and spot of discoloration at top, otherwise near fine condition.
