Indian writer and poet Rabindranath Tagore signed photo. The recipient of the 1913 Nobel Prize for Literature signs, ''Rabindranath Tagore'' in purple ink below his image. Tagore, who had early success as a writer in his native Bengal, became known in the West once his poetry was translated. He lectured around the world and became the voice of India's spiritual heritage. Image and photographic border measure 3.375'' x 5.375''. Some mounting remnants to verso, overall near fine condition.
