EC Comics artist Bernard Krigstein set of illustrations from 1954, rendered in ink, for the hardcover book ''How to Play Baseball'' by M.G. Bonner, published by Knopf in 1955. Artwork was produced during Krigstein's time at EC Comics when he was producing ''the most acclaimed stories of his career between 1953 and 1955'', according to Jean-Paul Gabilliet in ''Of Comics and Men''. First illustration of the pitcher measures approximately 7.5'' x 7'', and second of the batter measures approximately 7.5'' x 9.5'', both on paper measuring 22'' x 15''. Some white-out, overall very good to near fine condition.
