Adolf Hitler signed copy of ''Mein Kampf'', #17 of 100 in an informal limited edition that Hitler signed for this 1933 edition, published to commemorate Hitler's appointment as German Chancellor which, of course, also marked the beginning of the end for democracy in Germany. Munich: Franz Eher Nachfolger, 1933. Hitler signs the half-title page in German, ''Adolf Hitler / Munich Num. 17/100 / 1933''. Book is bound in publisher's original navy boards with the Nazi swastika on the front cover and titling to the spine in gilt. Housed in slipcase and custom clamshell case apparently made for the first U.S. edition of ''Mein Kampf'' from 1939. Book measures 5'' x 7.5'' and case measures 5.75'' x 9''. Separation starting to joints, but overall a well-preserved copy in very good plus condition. Rare as signed in the limited edition, and with an auction COA by PSA/DNA.
