Andy Warhol Large Signed Poster of Marilyn Monroe

Andy Warhol signed poster from his acclaimed show at the Tate Gallery in London in 1971, depicting one of his famous images of Marilyn Monroe. The pop artist gained worldwide notoriety for his legendary Marilyn diptych recreations, with reproductions of various colors of this same silk-screened image hanging in museums around the world. Warhol signs in black marker to the bottom right of the commemorative poster from the show, which ran from 17 February through 28 March 1971. Measures 20'' x 30''. Faint tape stains to top. Very good plus.
