Ray Bradbury's very own ink set. Wooden box features a gilt metal inlay on the top of a hinged lid, which opens to reveal a cushioned burgundy leather lining with gilt and tooled designs to its borders. Set houses 3 pairs of glass ink wells, each kept in their own compartments: pair of 2'' x 3.25'' rectangular wells in plain glass with cut glass toppers; pair of 1.5'' x 1.25'' cylindrical wells with a reeded cut glass design and starburst to the underside, topped by metal lids; pair of 1.25'' x 1.25'' miniatures in the same style as the large pair. Also in the case are two small ink blotter tops without semicircular blotter bottoms. At center is a velvet pad with handle. Set contains 3 additional compartments topped with knobbed lids. Polished wood case measures 11.5'' x 5'' x 8.5''. Ink blotters appear partially absent. Very good condition. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
