Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' strip from 4 June 1993. Four-panel strip features Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty relaxing under a tree when Patty declares her theory that ''...you get better grades if you're cute...'' She widens her eyes for effect and laments the strain, while Charlie Brown assures her, ''I liked you fine the other way.'' Strip is inscribed by Schulz along the top edge, ''Best Wishes - Charles M. Schulz''. Measures 20.75'' x 7''. Mounted to foam board. Near fine.
