''Chicago Daily Tribune'' newspaper dated 3 November 1948 featuring 1.5'' banner headline ''DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN'', the most famous newspaper faux-pas of the 20th century. The Tribune so quickly rushed its printing that some of the type is even printed upside down. Most of the issues were taken off the stands when the Tribune realized its error, and only 2,000 were estimated to have reached private hands. Full paper runs 40pp. Normal toning and expected fold at center to front cover, else very good condition.
