Dr. Seuss handwrites and signs a poem on his personal stationery to his friend, law student Diddo Clark. Written in blue ink, it reads in full: ''[underscored] Poem / I'm glad you don't / have to share a shower / after class / with David Eisenhower. / [underscored] Fact / I hope you don't give up your / ART / while becoming / a Supreme Court Justice. / [underscored] Signed / Seuss''. He draws arrows from the underscored headings to the text below. Comes with original envelope, 1pp. measures 7'' x 10.25''. Mounted off-center to a blue paper matte board to an overall size of 10.75'' x 16''. Creasing and a pencil notation to upper right dating the letter 11 October 1973 in an unknown hand. In very good condition.
