The skilled artist behind the iconic ''Chrsity Girl'' inscribes the front free endpaper with a dedication signed: ''with best wishes - Howard Chandler Christy / July 20 ~ 42'' in black ink. The charming tale is written in verse and bound in green cloth boards with gilt lettering. Measures 6.5'' x 9''. Rubbing to board corners, edges and spine edges. Toning and light foxing to leaves. Very good.
