Letter reads in part, ''Dear Shrink / Tried to call you tonight from my new ranch. I am now the proprietor of Trudi Pederson's spread up Woody Creek. It came by accident, but was too good to refuse. Vast acreage & plenty of room for visitors...Intend to base here all winter but will be in N.Y. in Jan...Esquire bought a part of the book for the Jan. issue & delayed publication.
