WWII autograph letter signed by a prisoner in the Dachau concentration camp. Letter is dated 14 June 1942, also with the prisoner's information written at top indicating 11 May 1919 as his birthday and ''Bloc 9/4''. Untranslated letter in German is very legible and ends with the Dachau censor's stamp. Dachau was the first and longest-running concentration camp of the Third Reich. Letter runs 3pp. on standard issue card-style Dachau stationery with printed instructions in German that translate, ''Petition for release to the guards is useless'' and ''Visitation and telephone rights are not allowed''. Letter measures 5.75'' x 8.25''. Toning and creasing, else near fine.
