Weigall succeeded Howard Carter as Chief Inspector of Antiquities for Upper Egypt. He was notable for his discovery of several tombs during this time, including the royal tomb of Horemheb. Letter measures approximately 7.75'' x 8.75'' with three-hole punched paper affixed to left side. Light toning and staple punctures, overall very good condition.
