''Take Me Out To The Ballgame'' sheet music signed by its songwriters Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer. Remarkably, this is the only known copy of the lasting hit signed by both Norworth and Von Tilzer. Sheet music cover is inscribed in blue ink: ''To / Ken / All the best / Always / Jack Norworth'' and in black ink: ''To Kenneth E. Crouch / Sincerely / Albert von Tilzer''. In 1908 Norworth and von Tilzer wrote the iconic song, which was popularized by Norworth's wife, Nora Bayes, who performed it on the vaudeville circuit. Some words were changed and Norworth released an updated version in 1927; the tune was soon played at baseball games and the rest is indeed history. Sheet music for the 1927 edition runs 4pp. and includes the melody's music and complete lyrics. Accompanied by two other short jingles from New York's Broadway Music Corporation printed on the inside front cover. Measures 9'' x 12''. Very good, with toning and surface abrasions to covers. A remarkable piece of iconic Americana. Pre-certified by JSA.
