Set of two original artworks of the U.S.S. Enterprise, used in production for the 1979 film ''Star Trek: The Motion Picture''. Drawn in pencil by Star Trek artist Leslie Ekker, who was subsequently nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Visual Effects for ''Apollo 13'', and whose other credits include ''Titanic'' and ''Blade Runner''. Drawings on thin vellum-like material measure 17'' x 11'' and 14'' x 9'', with ''Paramount Pictures Corp.'' stamp to each. Larger sheet has two closed tears at upper and right edges, archivally repaired on verso; creasing to edges as well. Light creasing to smaller sheet. Overall very good condition.
