'Prince Valiant'' Sunday strip by Hal Foster, published 13 February 1966, #1,514 in the series. In this fun strip, Hatha -- the son of Boltar and Tillicum -- meets a pretty young girl named Starlight, the effect of which wreaks havoc on Botha's life. Foster slyly comments in the last panel, ''...Then he met a girl and everything changed. Girls! (The author has it from reliable sources that this has been happening since time began)...'' Eight panel strip is beautifully illustrated with thickly forested snow-topped woods in the background. King Features Syndicate label appears on sixth panel, with lettering and title card glued on. Measures 24.25'' x 34.75''. Strip is mounted to board. Overall in very good plus condition, with a bend to lower right and a few spots of discoloration but with virtually no toning. From the estate of John Cullen Murphy.
