On Treasury Department letterhead, Fessenden writes on 10 October 1864 regarding empty grain bags that were imported from Liverpool, England. Two page letter on bifolium measures 7.875'' x 9.875''. Light discoloration, overall very good. Accompanied by an engraving of Fessenden.
