The Lincoln ''Wheat'' Penny from 1909, Designed by Artist Victor David Brenner -- PCGS Graded MS-64

Rare Lincoln ''wheat'' penny, minted in 1909 with the initials ''VDB'' on the reverse for artist Victor David Brenner, who conceived of the rustic design. Also shows necessary ''S'' on the reverse below the wheat stalks, indicating the San Francisco mint. This penny had a low mintage of only 484,000 pieces, with far fewer remaining today. Graded MS-64 by PCGS.
