Commemorative cover signed by the first two people to climb Mount Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary and sherpa Tenzing Norgay. First day cover was officially issued by the Kingdom of Nepal celebrating the 25th anniversary of the legendary climb, with two Nepalese stamps affixed, and certified by the Nepalese government on 29 May 1978. Accompanied by the limited edition silver coin. Cover measures 8'' x 4.5'', with the coin measuring 1.25'' in diameter. Mild toning on left edge, overall near fine.
