Sex Pistols "Holidays in the Sun Poster" From 1977 -- The Original Poster Design That Jamie Read Was Forced to Destroy

Original Sex Pistols poster promoting the release of the 1977 single "Holidays In The Sun". Poster was designed by Jamie Reid, who took the graphics directly from a Belgian tourist brochure, replacing the speech bubbles with lyrics from the song. Upon learning of the poster, the Belgian Traveling Service threatened legal action against Virgin Records and Reid was subsequently forced to destroy the artwork in front of their lawyer. The poster design was then replaced with the far more common image of crowded bodies on a beach. Poster measures 28" x 27.5". Separation starting at right-edge fold, otherwise very good to near fine condition.
