Ruth Bader Ginsburg autograph note signed on her Supreme Court note card with rare content regarding her colon cancer treatment in 1999. On her embossed ''Chambers of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg'' note card, Ginsburg writes to her friend Davideen Werner on 19 November 1999,

''About the Mall, let's see how I am doing around that time. Though I'm almost mended from the surgery, the course of chemotherapy and radiation will run through April, at least. / Ruth''.

Ginsburg was treated for cancer five times over two decades including this first treatment for colon cancer, then later lung and pancreatic cancer. She bore the weight of all the surgeries and treatment without missing work. Card measures 4.875'' x 3.5''. Rust spot at top, overall near fine condition. Accompanied by original transmittal envelope.
