Costume worn by Russell Crowe in the 2000 historical-fiction epic film ''Gladiator'', one of the most successful movies of all time. Crowe won the Academy Award for his performance as Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridias. Jany Yates also won for Best Costume Design, and the film itself won Best Picture. Arena costume includes a full-length sleeveless tunic in oatmeal colored burlap, lined in off-white cloth, with thick brown distressed leather belt by Cornejo of Madrid. Near fine.
