Photograph depicts members of Amundsen's crew dismantling the ''Norge'' in Teller, Alaska after the aircraft made its record-breaking trip to the North Pole on 12 May 1926. The famed Arctic explorer signs in green ink to the top white portion. Photo features a typed press release from International Newsreel dated 1 June 1926 upon the verso, as well as their stamp. Measures 5.75'' x 8''. Small chip to upper right and slight toning. Very good plus. With a COA from University Archives.
