Richard Nixon Presidential Star Award from 1972, the same year he won re-election. The original crystal version of this star sat upon Nixon's desk in the Oval Office. Replicas were made and distributed to various campaign supporters; this one such replica is made of acrylic with the Presidential seal engraved to center. Star measures 6'' x 6.25'' and sits on a 3.25'' x 2.25'' wooden base with a plaque engraved, ''With Deep Appreciation / Richard Nixon / November 1972''. Scuffing to star in a few spots, overall very good condition.
