Original Hal Foster preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2069 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 3 October 1976, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Sketch measures 8.5'' x 11'', with an additional sketch on verso, re-doing panel 6. Three hole punch, and light wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
