Original Hal Foster signed preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2241 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 20 January 1980, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a separate typed story narration. Both sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, light wear, and small closed .5'' tear at top, overall in very good condition. With Prince Valiant label in first panel, and signed by Foster on last panel. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
