Original Hal Foster signed preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2189 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 21 January 1979, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a separate typed story narration. Both sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and light wear, overall in very good plus condition. With Prince Valiant label in first panel, and signed by Foster on last panel.
