Original animation cel from Disney's 1938 short ''Ferdinand the Bull'', featuring Ferdinand as a young calf in the opening scene of the film. A beloved Christmas film about a bull that refuses to fight, ''Ferdinand the Bull'' won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 1938. Disney label on verso of frame reads ''This is an original painting on celluloid, actually used in the Walt Disney Production of Ferdinand the Bull...Copyright 1938...Walt Disney Productions''. Visible portion of artwork measures 8.25'' square. Not examined out of frame, but appears in very good condition with no significant cracking to celluloid.
