Margaret Thatcher personally owned china, a lovely set of 10 dessert plates and 7 cups and saucers in a navy blue floral pattern with gilt cartouches. Fine ground china is by Augarten Wien of Vienna, circa late 20th century, with printed factory marks and blue painted numerals on underside. Plates measures 8'' in diameter; saucers measure 6'' in diameter and 2.75'' tall paired with cups. Minute rubbing from use, overall near fine condition. An attractive memento from the iconic Prime Minister, perfect for display. From the 2019 Christie's auction of the Margaret Thatcher estate.
