Lot of 23 red-number NASA photos from Gemini XI, all printed on ''A Kodak Paper'' with NASA press releases to verso. Gemini XI was the ninth crewed spaceflight of Project Gemini, notable for performing the first direct-ascent first-orbit rendezvous with another spacecraft, the Agena Target Vehicle. Gemini XI also still holds the record for the highest Earth orbit reached by a crewed, non-lunar spacecraft.
Most photos measure 8'' x 10'' in very good condition, with light creasing and edgewear, unless otherwise noted. Lot includes:
