Andrew Jackson land grant signed ''Andrew Jackson'' in large script as President. The notoriously expansionist President signed the Indian Removal Act just months before this 1 November 1830 document, which entitles Jacob Heinz to 81 acres and sixteen hundredths of an acre of land in Ohio. Countersigned by Elijah Hayward as General Land Office Commissioner. Single-page document is partially-printed on vellum, measuring 15.5'' x 9.5''. Fading to Land Office seal. Very good.
