Dwight D. Eisenhower typed letter signed as President, dated 30 December 1955, on White House stationery. Marked ''Personal'', Eisenhower uses sarcasm to make his point about economic theory in practice. Letter reads in part: ''...You would like us to stop everything that...has influence on the laws of supply and demand...[and] instantly to remove all tariff protection from any company...You would have us stop all accelerated amortization of...plants...'' Signed ''D.E.'' in black ink. Letter measuring 7'' x 10.25'' shows minor creasing, else near fine.
Dwight D. Eisenhower Typed Letter Signed as President -- to His Brother Edgar -- ''...you desire to see the extreme fringes of the New Deal and the ADA back in power...''
