Sir Edmund Hillary signs a sketch he made of the summit of Mount Everest; Hillary only produced these sketches for charity on rare occasions. On an 8'' x 11'' sheet of Himalayan Trust letterhead with Hillary's New Zealand address, Hillary sketches a range of mountains with a tiny victorious climber raising his ice axe atop the tallest, Mount Everest. Base camp is shown below. He signs ''Ed Hillary''. The world famous mountaineer who first ascended Everest in 1953, set up the trust in the 1960's to benefit the Sherpa people. Minor creasing to sketch, else near fine. Accompanying envelope is in very good condition. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
