Typed letter signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower as President, dated 16 June 1954 on White House stationery. Eisenhower writes his brother Edgar about a topic apparently raised by Edgar: ''...your letter of June seventh has not been lost in the shuffle. The State Department believes Mr. Wright's idea has merit, and within a week or so I shall send you specific suggestions for his use. Give my love to Lucy and Janis, and, of course, all the best to yourself...'' Signed ''DE'' in black ink. 6.75'' x 8.75'' letter has been hole punched, else fine.
