19th century broadside reprinted from original event of 19 October 1789, promoting President's George Washington's visit to Boston. The broadside, likely a centennial reprint, lists the ''Order of Procession'' for the event and its particulars. Washington's visit throughout the newly formed United States during the fall of 1789 was greeted with enormous fanfare and idolatry of the new President. Dampstaining and small portion of paper loss, not affecting text, to 10'' x 14'' broadside, which is archivally repaired on verso along folds. Good plus condition.
