Dated 18 April 1963, his letter on his personal Independence, Missouri stationery reads: ''Dear Miss Gray: Thank you very much for the book entitled 'The Third World'. I look forward to reading it with a great deal of interest and more than appreciate your thoughtfulness in remembering me with it. Sincerely yours, Harry Truman''. Accompanied by the envelope, also signed ''Harry Truman'' in bold black ink. 1pp. letter measures 7.25'' x 10.5''. Creasing, else near fine.
