William Boyd autograph letter signed on his personal ''William Boyd Enterprises'' stationery, undated. Known as the iconic western film star ''Hopalong Cassidy,'' Boyd signs this letter ''Hoppy''. Letter in blue ink reads in part: ''Dear Edward...I do want to thank you for your Doggone Good Book -- I think it is wonderful -- will be in N.Y. May 28th and will give you a call...Best to you, and that Wonderful Gal of yours -- Hoppy''. Letter on 1pp. measures 8.5'' x 11'' with two staple holes at top left and very minor toning, else near fine.
