Original Red Cross poster prototype featuring a striking red cross in the center and cut-out print of a charcoal sketch to the right. From this sample, the ''Always There...With Your Help'' poster was printed. Red Cross posters have become an institution since the organization was founded in 1881 and great artists Norman Rockwell, N.C. Wyeth, and Joseph Binder have all put their brush to an iconic Red Cross poster design. Poster is a 33.5'' x 17.5'' board with artwork pieces glued separately and Hanzl-Hanzl New York advertising agency sticker to verso. Some light toning and original annotations in blue pen around the border. Overall very good condition.
