Edgar Hoover'' to the front free endpaper in blue ink. In the late 1950's, Hoover's zealous hunt for communists was in full swing. Runs 374pp. Bound in red cloth boards with black print and gilt lettering. Measures 5.75'' x 8.5''. Wear to spine edges and right edge of front board, and a tiny stain to the letter M on the front board title, else near fine.
