Uncut sheet of Continental currency printed in the United States' first year of declared independence, 1776. Eight pieces in total, including two each of the following denominations: one-sixth of a dollar, one-third of a dollar, half a dollar, and two-thirds of a dollar. Printed on each is a logo bearing roman numerals and the phrase ''Mind Your / Business'', along with the statement: ''According to a Resolution of CONGRESS, passed at Philadelphia, February 17, 1776.'' Interlocking circles bearing each colony-turned-state's name appear in a design on the verso. Printed by Hall and Sellers. Sheet measures 5'' x 13'' with individual pieces measuring 2.5'' x 3.25''. Significant toning to verso, as well as some surface loss. Chipping and creasing to edges. In good plus condition.
