March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom pin, worn by participants in the historic 29 August 1963 march, including Martin Luther King, Jr. and other civil rights leaders who led the march. When King delivered his ''I Have a Dream Speech'' from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, such a pin is prominently displayed on his lapel. The 2'' button, illustrated with clasped black and white hands, reads: ''March on Washington for Jobs & Freedom / August 28, 1963''. Very good condition.
