Rolling Stones RIAA multi-platinum RIAA award for ''Forty Licks''. This visually engaging piece commemorates the sale of more than 4 million of their greatest hits double compilation album on compact disc. It was released in 2002 by ABKCO Records & Virgin. Award boasts The Stones' iconic lip and tongue logo printed in the background. Four CDs and 4 platinum records can be seen behind the glass, which is printed with their hit song titles in shades of red. Two strips of photos of the band over the years border the records, and are suspended in a layer of glass between the background and the surface. An engraved plaque identifies the award and its music industry recipient. Framed in a black wooden frame to an overall size of 35.5'' x 23''. In near fine condition.
