Celebrated Swedish American sculptor Claes Oldenburg signs his name in black ink to a postcard printed with his 1965 "Teddy Bear," a fantasy-concept for a public sculpture in Central Park. Verso is printed identifying the card as a commemorative printing in honor of the artist's 1 November 2011 speaking engagement at the Whitney Museum of American Art. A ticket from this event at the Whitney is included. Card measures 5" x 7". Fine.
