Miniature Oscar statue honoring Columbia Pictures' 15th anniversary in 1935. Columbia's 1934 film ''It Happened One Night'' won Best Picture, Director, Actress and Actor at the 1935 Oscars. The solid metal award is a true miniature of the Oscar figure standing on a film reel upon a pedestal. Measures 5.5'' in overall height. Felt-covered base has a diameter of 2.5''. Considerable rubbing to finish, else near fine. A rare collectible made by Columbia only for that Oscar night.
