Millard Fillmore signature framed with a 7.25'' x 9'' photo of the President, who signs ''Millard Fillmore / Buffalo, N.Y. / April 14th, 1864'' upon a 3.5'' x 1.75'' card. Fillmore made his home in Buffalo and, during the Civil War, commanded the Union Continentals, a corps of home guards from the upstate New York area. The photo is a Mathew Brady image taken between 1855 and 1865. Both are framed to an overall size of 13'' x 16.5''. Signature is in fine condition. Chipping to edge of frame with tears to paper backing, else near fine.
