Teleptype reporting the capture of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassin, James Earl Ray, and a photocopy of the FBI press release dated 8 June 1968. The teletype bulletin reports, ''...Ray was arrested by Scotland Yard detectives. He had been sought for 65 days by police and the F-B-I and had been on of the F-B-I's 10 most wanted...'' Toned teletype is three parts glued together to form a 8.25'' x 10.75'' document with stained marks from the glue residue. Press release copy measures 10.5'' x 8'' and is lightly toned. Overall very good condition.
