The ''Winnie Mae'' pilot and navigator sign a postal cover issued in commemoration of 1931's landmark first flight around the world. Signed ''Wiley Post'' and ''Harold Gatty'' in black ink. Cover bears a twice-cancelled two cent stamp, postmarked from Mineola, N.Y. on 21 June 1931 at 3 a.m. and again at 9 p.m., then once from Berlin. Also rubber stamped twice in purple ink from other European cities. A photo of Post standing next to the Winnie Mae labeled ''Point Barrow, Alaska Aug. 15, '35'' is included. Measures 6.5'' x 3.75''.
