Chuck Yeager signed Bell X-1 model airplane, the plane Yeager piloted on 14 October 1947 when he broke the sound barrier in a dangerous, top-secret flight not disclosed to the public until a year later. Plane is a 1/32 scale model, boldly signed ''Chuck Yeager'' in black felt-tip on the right wing. Wooden plane painted orange measures 12.5'' long x 11'' wide x 8.5'' tall as displayed. New in Danbury Mint box with no flaws. With Danbury Mint COA and photo of Yeager signing.
