Jimmy Hoffa signed first edition of his biography, ''Hoffa! Ten Angels Swearing''. Beaverdam, VA: Beaverdam Books, 1965. Hoffa boldly signs this authorized biography on the front pastedown in blue ballpoint, ''James R. Hoffa''. The author, Jim Clay also signs the front free endpaper, ''Best always - Jim Clay / 7-21-65''. Hoffa, of course, was the notorious Teamsters labor leader, known for his ties to organized crime which would ultimately be his undoing. His disappearance in 1975, attributed to a mafia hit, still remains unsolved. Bound in publisher's pale yellow cloth boards with black lettering, book measures 6.25'' x 9.25''. Dust jacket has some chipping, in very good condition. Book remains near fine.
